Terms and Conditions for Louvell Events

 

These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Louvell Events. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

 

1. Scope of Services

 

1.1 Services Provided: Louvell Events offers event planning, coordination, design, and related services as outlined in your contract.

1.2 Custom Services: Any additional services requested must be agreed upon in writing and may incur extra charges.

 

2. Bookings and Payments

 

2.1 Booking Confirmation: A signed contract and non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total fee are required to secure our services.

2.2 Payment Schedule: The remaining balance must be paid in full 14 days before the event date.

2.3 Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional fees and could impact the delivery of services.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds

 

3.1 Client Cancellations:

The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Cancellations within 30 days of the event will result in forfeiture of all payments made.

3.2 Louvell Events Cancellations:

In the unlikely event we must cancel, a full refund will be issued, and we will assist in finding an alternative provider if possible.

 

4. Event Changes

 

4.1 Changes by the Client: All changes to event details (date, location, guest count, etc.) must be communicated in writing. Significant changes may incur additional fees.

4.2 Force Majeure: Louvell Events is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

 

5. Vendor Relationships

 

5.1 Third-Party Vendors: Louvell Events will work with your trusted vendors but is not responsible for their actions, products, or services.

5.2 Vendor Payments: The client is responsible for payments directly to vendors unless otherwise agreed - Louvell Events is a separate entity to your vendor.

 

6. Event Design and Setup

 

6.1 Design Approval: All design concepts must be approved by the client in advance.

6.2 Setup and Cleanup: Louvell Events will oversee the setup and cleanup as per the agreed schedule. However, the client is responsible for any damages or extra cleaning required.

 

7. Equipment and Decor Hire

 

7.1 Equipment Use: All hired items must be returned in the same condition. Any damage or loss will incur repair or replacement fees.

7.2 Fire Safety: The client is responsible for ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations when using décor such as pampas grass, dried florals, or candles.

 

8. Client Responsibilities

 

8.1 Accurate Information: The client must provide accurate and timely information for effective planning.

8.2 On-Site Conduct: The client and guests must adhere to venue rules and behave respectfully towards vendors and staff.

 

9. Liability

 

9.1 Event Liability: Louvell Events is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event. Clients are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage.

9.2 Damages: The client is responsible for any damage caused to the venue, equipment, or rented items during the event.

 

10. Confidentiality

 

10.1 Louvell Events respects your privacy and will not share personal information without your consent.

 

11. Dispute Resolution

 

11.1 Any disputes will first be resolved through mutual negotiation. If unresolved, the matter will be referred to mediation or arbitration.

 

12. Governing Law

 

12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom
